Ενισχυτικά Μαθήματα - Πανεπιστήμια Εξωτερικού
The Moraitis IB is highly dedicated to developing our students’ skills in order to facilitate their university application process, from the early stages of university and course selection with their Guidance Counsellors, to the demanding preparation and application period. We want to be close to our students and offer them the best opportunities to prepare for this important phase of their school experience. For this reason, we offer a variety of supplementary courses and special events that will equip our students with the necessary skills and experience to deal with their university applications.
The small group classes are taught by experienced Moraitis School teachers at the IB or online.
On Wednesday 10 January 2024 at 19:00 a presentation will explain the extra examinations needed for university applications in the UK and Europe.
The Extra Courses that will run in 2024 are as follows:
Physics for Medicine (January – October 2024)
Extra tests are required for almost all English-speaking medical schools in Europe and the UK. Each test has its own format, but many have a science section which includes Physics. We start our Physics for Medicine course in January of IB1 to ensure a rigorous groundwork in the basic areas needed for these tests.
Law - Mock Trial (February 2024)
Continuing our exclusive in Greece collaboration with the Lawyer Portal, students who are interesting in learning more about the legal system in the UK and to explore the experience of a courtroom drama can participate in the Role Play Mock Trial in February 2024. This event enables students to actively prepare a real legal case and to argue in teams for the prosecution or the defence, in a courtroom setting. The proceedings are based on an actual case and the Mock Trial event is hosted by The Lawyer Portal, with qualified barristers, in partnership with the British General Council of the Bar. In 2024, the preparation sessions and the Trial itself will be online.
