Three in One Project for the D-classes

In this first trimester, students are working on a project that combines History, Math and Computers. As can been seen by the Vases from the Geometric Era, students have designed their own vases using MS Paint. During the classes students are researching (using kid-safe internet websites) to find a Greek Vase Template. Students then upload the vase to the Downloads folder. Afterwards, the vase template is opened with the Paint Program. History is incorporated by using the MS Paint tools to add shapes from the Geometric Era (900 BC) to their vases.  Next, they are opening a new word document and inserting their vases. Mathematics enters the project as students research the web to find formulas for the shapes they used and inserting the formulas into textboxes. Lastly, bibliographies are added to emphasize that all copied information must be documented with the website where the information was located.
